Our baby changing stations are safe and secure
Our most popular Baby Changing Station is also our strongest. Made from high grade stainless steel, it provides the ultimate security for parents changing their baby.
For adults who need somewhere to seat their infant while they use the washroom, our robust Baby Protection Chair incorporates adjustable waist and crotch restraints with a snap-lock buckle, giving extra peace of mind.
There in an instant: the ideal commercial baby changing unit
Our baby changing stations and fold-away infant seats are ergonomically designed, so they can be opened, closed and adjusted in a flash. Ideal for when parents have one of their hands full of shopping.
What’s more, the concealed hinges and adjustable straps mean they’re incredibly safe – even when used quickly. Because nobody wants nappy changes to take longer than necessary!
Ultra hygienic: a baby changing unit for public toilets
Our washroom technology works, but it’s also designed to protect people – adults, children and babies alike. It’s something we’re serious about, and we know you are too.
Infused with an antimicrobial agent, the stainless steel casing on our Baby Changing Station inhibits the growth of odorous, potentially harmful bacteria. This makes it the natural baby changing unit for public toilets and other high-footfall conveniences.
The smooth, metallic finish on this product is easy to clean and difficult to vandalise, making it a practical investment for any washroom facility.
How to use a baby changing station
It’s easy for young parents and those with newborn babies to feel overwhelmed when they are learning how to use a baby changing station for the first time.
If you’ve installed a baby changing unit in your washroom facilities, here are some of the questions that parents commonly ask – so be prepared by ensuring that you’ve read the operator instructions or user manual for your unit carefully:
What’s the ideal height for baby changing stations?
The ideal height for baby changing stations varies depending on the height of those using them. Here in the UK, average female height is around 5’3” (160cm) and average male height is around (175cm). Heights of around 95cm–110cm are commonplace and cater for most users. Bear in mind: in washrooms, it’s usually easier to reach up than hunch over or kneel!
How do I use the restraints on the changing table?
To avoid possible injuries, it’s important that users know never to turn their back while the baby is on the changing table.
With one hand on the child, the user should adjust the waist strap so that it is firmly (but not tightly) fitted around the baby’s middle. If the strap has a snap-lock buckle, it’s important to check that this is securely fastened before changing the infant.
Where can I hang my bag while I change my baby?
The best baby changing units will be fitted with a hook above or on the underside of the changing table, enabling users to retrieve nappies and other items from their bags without turning away from the child.
If one is not immediately obvious, it’s best for the user to keep the essential items on the table beside the baby.
